Ahrenslab, Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop, Ahrenshoop, 2023

The Ahrenslab exhibition combines artistic, scientific, documentary and literary exhibits. It offers the opportunity to think about Ahrenshoop under the conditions of the Anthropocene, the new epoch in which human influences are massively changing the entire earth's surface and biosphere.

What can artistic works and scientific observations tell us about the sometimes rapid changes in the place and its surroundings that we hardly notice in everyday life in Ahrenshoop? What role does each of us play personally in this? And what alternatives and future perspectives can be developed if we start to trust our imagination?
