The art developments of the 20th century have shown that essentially any material can be the basis for an artistic work. Marcel Duchamp with his Ready Mades or the Italian Arte Povera have shown in a radical way that even objects and items that are far removed from art have aesthetic potential. However, it requires the creative skills of artists who give the everyday and the seemingly worthless a new form, transform them and thereby sharpen the audience's perception.
